UC Berkeley’s Engineering Leadership Professional Program (ELPP) prepares top-performing engineering managers and technical leaders for executive level engineering leadership. This new breakthrough program model is parallel to a technology-focused MBA, but condensed to 5 months, part-time, and offered on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings in the Silicon Valley. Unlike an MBA, the ELPP is uniquely focused on Technology Strategy, Operational Innovation and Leadership areas as relevant to the Silicon Valley’s top high technology firms.

- 2014 ELPP firm’s include Altera, Applied Materials, Box, Cloudera, Ericsson, GE Software, Google, Juniper, Kaiser Permanente, Lam Research, Mentor Graphics, NetApp, Pivitol, Qualcomm, SanDisk, Samsung, Synopsys, VMware, Yahoo, and VW.
In addition, the program allows candidates to join the vibrant industry ecosystem of the UC Berkeley’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology as well as participate in the conversation of Silicon Valley’s most strategic technology trends. Candidates must be recommended by the executive leadership within their firms.

2014-2015 SCHEDULES:
Sessions are usually held once per week on Monday or Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley. The first session for Fall 2014 will be held August 20th and continue for an additional 20 sessions, including the final session on December 15th, a graduation ceremony at UC Berkeley with reception to follow at UC Berkeley Faculty Club. Spring 2015 will likely commence January 20th and end June 8th. See Fall 2014 Syllabus below for more details regarding sessions.
