Announcing the 2011 Berkeley Venture Lab Winners! By Cindy Chien, CET | Sept 20, 2011 BERKELEY - The Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (CET) is delighted to announce the 2011 Berkeley Venture Lab Winners! On September 15, 2011, twelve technology companies launched by Berkeley students or young alumni were called back to the Berkeley Venture Lab Competition held at the Banatao Auditorium on the UC Berkeley campus. Each company presented its 3-min elevator pitch to the judging panel in a private setting. Berkeley Venture Lab provides the critically needed platform for Berkeley participants to launch startup companies in the real-world setting. It is an educational program offered by the Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (CET), located within the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley. Its objective is to educate engineers and scientists to lead, innovate, and commercalize technology to positively affect economic growth at the state, national, and international levels.
