Biography

Jeff Miller is a venture partner with Redpoint Ventures. At Redpoint, Jeff's area of focus is Documentum, Inc.(DCTM). Documentum was among the first software vendors to recognize that 70-80 percent of all business information is in the form of (electronic) documents, and that corporations needed a way to manage these vast resources in a global environment. Under Jeff's leadership, Documentum has become one of the fastest growing technology companies in the country with year 2000 revenues of approximately $200 million. As CEO, from 1993 to July 2001, he was responsible for day-to-day operations in addition to strategic planning and direction. Now, as Chairman of the Board, Miller focuses on strategic planning and leadership development. He has more than 28 years of high tech experience, having started his career at Intel and holding senior marketing and general management executive positions at Cadence Design Systems and Adaptec. Jeff holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Santa Clara.
