Lecture Summary

Stephen Pratt, CEO of Infosys Consulting, debunks the notion that consulting firms must be either technology or business analysis experts. To keep up with globalization and technology, today's firms must employ experts who understand both the business and technology dimensions of any issue. Pratt compares and contrasts consulting's old model with the new more dynamic and fluid model. He also discusses the importance of the United States ability to lead in innovation and how it is imperative that the U.S. out innovates its overseas competition (rather than trying to out-depth them via a knowledge-base).
