Global Partners

Collaborate with our global venture lab of institutions, students, and researchers. The Global Partnership program is the premier international program at SCET. Select universities are chosen on an annual basis for a three-year partnership that allows each institution to collaborate with the Sutardja Center (SCET) in various ways.

Startup Semester at Berkeley

Interested in technology entrepreneurship and innovation? Startup Semester provides international students the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at UC Berkeley. The program emphasizes entrepreneurial thinking, leadership and hands-on venture-building. We will help you grow your network, find your new team, and immerse yourself in the dynamic Berkeley and Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Summer Venture Lab

The Summer Venture Lab Program provides student founders the opportunity to take their new venture project or research one step closer to market. Utilizing the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship, the curriculum provides best practices along with an emphasis on leadership, mindset, and networking in one of the most robust entrepreneurial ecosystems in the world.

Visiting Researcher & Scholar Program

SCET Berkeley hosts visiting researchers and scholars from around the world interested in applied research related to our Collider Lab focus areas: climate innovation, food sustainability and neurotech innovations. We also host a limited number of researchers interested in independent research related to entrepreneurship education and ecosystems.

Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Global partners and students have the opportunity to send students and faculty to our Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp class at discounted rates. The 4 1/2 day venture workshop is held at UC Berkeley and is comprised of UC Berkeley students, global participants, and working professionals wishing to learn entrepreneurship and innovation skills and gain experience with building new ventures with interdisciplinary teams from around the world.
